Santa Claus has been given the green light to fly his sleigh filled with toys on Christmas Eve. Norman Mineta, the U.S. Transportation Secretary, said he knows how important Santa's annual flight is to the good girls and boys the world over. The Federal Aviation Administration has set up special green and red teams that have inspected Santa's sleigh. The sleigh is modified extensively to allow for a one night around the world flight. Santa himself did promise that his Christmas route will not bother other air traffic.
