| Basketball great Shaquille O'Neal was in town to play Santa Claus for a group of kids on Friday morning. There were 250 kids in total at the event. O'Neal will play Saturday against the Lakers as a member of the Miami Heat. But, on Friday, as Shaq-a-Claus, O'Neal was welcomed to South Los Angeles as if he was still a part of the home team. O'Neal brought gifts for the kids at the Challengers Boys & Girls Club including such things as karaoke machines, bikes, Sony Playstation, and sneakers. O'Neal said that he was pleased to be back in L.A. and remarked that the children were the future. |
