Illinois Gov. Rod Blagojevich was arrested by Federal agents on Tuesday. As shown by the wiretaps records, Blagojevich was trying to "sell" the Illinois Senate seat, freed by President-elect Barack Obama. By law, the governor has the sole right to fill the senate seat freed by the president-elect. Financially strapped Blagojevich was tapped saying that the Senate seat "is a f***ing valuable thing, you just don't give it away for nothing."
