Czech public radio and TV broadcasters have announced that in November they will commence airing a new program that actually will follow the lives of four gorillas living in the Prague Zoo. The show will be called "Odhaleni," which translates to "Discovery" in English. The cast includes one male, two females and a baby. They foursome will battle it out for a grand prize of 12 melons, a delicacy for gorillas. 15 cameras have been set up to monitor the animals. Viewers (and listeners on the radio) will be able to vote via the telephone for their favorite contestant. Proceeds from the show will go to aid in saving the native gorilla population in Africa. |
