Television executives in the United States have announced the recruitment of Sylvester Stallone to bring reality television into the boxing ring. Stallone is the star of the Rocky and Rambo movies. He has been signed by DreamWorks TV as the executive producer of a series that will follow the rise and fall of amateur boxers. Some anticipate that Stallone will make occasional appearance on the show. The show is expected to have an elimination component of the kind seen on such popular programs as Survivor on CBS. The presence of Stallone is expected to give this program in development a real boost.
