Contest Directions:  KFC restaurant has been in the news after video cameras there discovered rats racing around the restaurant's floors, playing with each other and sniffing for food as they dashed around tables and children's high chairs. The Department of Health had inspectors at the site in the morning for hours, and by midday had posted a sign that read "CLOSED." The cameras filmed the rats again however. Apparently rats can't read.
In this contest you are asked to photoshop rats any way you like. Rats in real life, taking human roles, rats in paintings, giant rats, etc.

| | Often, mice and rats are considered as disgusting beings, which bring misfortune and death. However, one must not forget that due to these small animals, we have attained considerable development in medicine, microbiology, pharmacology and other sciences. At present, there are more than 300 known pure lines of laboratory animals among which white mice and rats occupy very important place.
When white and colored laboratory rats and especially mice are kept, it is important to clean the cages and wash their pallets with hot water daily. These small animals smell a lot, and it is a problem to keep them in the house.

KFC restaurant has been in trouble with rat infestation problem which
was filmed by video cameras.
The local TV crew from Greenwich Village, NY, taped the rats through the restaurant windows from
the building located opposite the KFC. The video shows over twelve
rats running round the restaurant looking for the remains of food and
playing with each other on the customers tables and chairs.
The KFC restaurant was closed at the time of filming and the company
officials said that rats may have found their way to the restaurant
building through the faulty basement constructions which had some
openings.
The local TV company released the video for all to see - it was aired
on TV as well as posted on the news web sites - to the complete dismay
and shock of the KFC customers looking at rat infested KFC which took
their orders and served their food just yesterday.
One of the upset customers was quoted saying that they place should be
closed and all rats thrown to jail.
Rats are and have always been one of the oldest problems in New York
City. NYC big population provides the idea environment for rats, mice
and other rodents, who thrive of the food supply in the trash and who
live naturally in the city subways, parks, and apartment buildings.
However it was still a surprise to find such a dense rat population in
one place, particularly in the place where hundreds of people eat every
day. The resident who lives in the building opposite the infested KFC
place expressed his anger saying that he lives next to a place which
supplies the rats for the entire city. Such situation, he said, is
completely unacceptable and should be dealt with by New York
officials. |
