A petition has been sent to Queen Elizabeth II from Pamela Anderson. In the document, the British monarch is urged to stop using bear pelts in the creation of the black helmets that are worn by palace guards. PETA, People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals, stated that the former Baywatch star had pulled together 200 signatures from her fans in the U.K. and mailed her petition to Buckingham Palace on Friday. The actress maintained that synthetic materials can be used to make the toppers worn by the guards at the palace gate.
