This warning was the winner of an anti lawsuit organizations contest for the wackiest consumer warning label of the year. The Michigan Lawsuit Abuse Watch sponsored the contest. The goal was to reveal how lawsuits have created a need for bizarre warnings on products. The $500 first prize went to Ed Gyetvai. Second place and $250 went to Matt Johnson for a warning label that was found on a children's scooter that read: "This product moves when used." |
