 Britan's Prince Charles and his wife, Camilla, recently took a look at the produce being offered at a farmers market in San Francisco. They also took the time to mingle a bit with the locals while at the organic market. Their U.S. tour moved to California, leaving New York City and Washington, D.C. behind. Organic agriculture and sustainable food production are issues very close to the heart of Britain's Crown Prince. Helge Hellberg, the Executive Director of the farming association known as Marin Organic indicated that many people have become disconnected from the food that they eat. He noted that Prince Charles understands and embraces organic and sustainable agriculture. Marin Organic, a mahor hub of organic farming, had been preparing for days for the Prince's visit. |
