Presidential Platform
Improvements were made to the White House to "give tourists a better view of it." An added benefit was increased protection for President Bush from terrorists diguised as "mothers against the war." Halliburton completed the fine example of oil-patch chic in record time, almost in the time it took to compare Cindy Sheehan's DNA with that of Osama bin Laden.

It sounds like the Democrats are the ones wanting to reinstate the draft. Send Jenna. Don’t we have a volunteer military. Oh, Casey Sheehan reenlisted by the way.

So, like, how come Jenna isn't volunteering. No openings in Daddy's old outfit, the "Champaign Squadron". Can you say "buck-buck-buck-buck-buuuuuck". (that's chicken talk) Ideally, if a nation's gonna fight a war, if it thinks it should go to war, people of all walks would volunteer. Short of that, a draft is the only fair way. And maybe if we did still have a draft, we wouldn't be so quick to get into the kinda mess Dubya's got us into in Iraq.

Cool image, didn't really need the political "commentary" found below the White House. Too bad, it actually ruins it for me.

Well, I believe the vast MAJORITY of the military voted for GWB in the 2004 election. What does that say.

I don't know much about American politics (and to be frank I prefer it that way), but I thougt FN was about fun and an ability to do a good chop. Why don't you lot agree to disagree and comment on the merit of the entry rather than on the perceived political agenda of the entrant... To the rest of us this is getting boring. GOOD CHOP.

Sorry, Reggie. I do see your point. I agree the White House/military/oil complex could have stood alone, and might even have been more thought provoking, certainly more subtle. But I don't think it would have quite said it all. I just thought the thing needed some narrative to explain why the White House was up on stilts like that (nothing bugs me more than those what-does-it-mean. comments). I could have/should have accomplished the narrative by simply showing Cindy Sheehan, instead of all those protestors, staring up at the White House, and it probably would have been more poignant/funny too. But sorry, I didn't think of that at the time. Anyway, thanx Reggie, your point's definitely taken.
