| | A survey of voters has indicated that voters would prefer to flip burgers, drink beer and enjoy a backyard barbecue with George W. Bush as opposed to John Kerry. A national poll demonstrated that Bush has more regular guy qualities than does Kerry. 50% of the registered voters who participated in the backyard barbecue survey selected Bush as opposed to 39% for Kerry. 11% did not have a preference or did not answer the backyard barbecue question. In addition, more voters felt Bush would be somewhat better than Kerry at running the family business -- 46% to 41%. Voters were about evenly split on which of the two candidates for president they would rather have teaching their own children. |
