President Reagan pictures
President Reagan
My first thought was "What if Ronald Reagan could be president again?" My second thought was, "Well, that would be a bit like Weekend at Bernie's"...

Many in the press described Reagan’s presidency as "the role of a lifetime." I guess this one would be "the role of the afterlife-time?"

For comparison – here’s the inspiration.

This contest is fueled by the following news:
A new TV show starring Oscar-winner Geena Davis as America's first female president, juggling career and family while holding Republican enemies at bay, is drawing Internet fire from conservatives and feminists alike. But the big question among network executives is whether there is room enough in prime time for two White House dramas. "Commander In Chief" premieres on Tuesday on ABC following the return on Sunday of NBC's Emmy-winning White House drama "The West Wing." Producers of "Commander In Chief" acknowledge their success depends on distinguishing the show from "West Wing," which is headed into its seventh season with a storyline pitting Alan Alda against Jimmy Smits in an election battle to replace current star Martin Sheen as president. Strange facts about US Presidents: Herbert Hoover authored and published more than 16 books. One of his books was “Fishing for Fun and to Wash Your Soul”. Franklin Delano Roosevelt had alliances with 11 of his predecessors in the White House. Harry S. Truman had a personal goat, which grazed on the lawns of White House. Commander and President Dwight Eisenhower was a big fan and an expert of cookery. He even came out with a recipe of vegetable soup, which included nasturtium stems as ingredients. John Fitzgerald Kennedy was the first boy scout in the history of the USA, who went on to become president. Lyndon Johnson liked presenting gifts to employees and visitors. Electric tooth-brushes were his favorite gift. Author of the biography of Johnson received 12 brushes from his hero within 10 yrs. Richard Nixon always warmed his office by means of a fireplace, refusing to use steam heating. Gerald R. Ford came to know about his adoption through his parents at the age of 12. Jimmy Carter became the first US president who has published a historical novel (“The Hornet's Nest”). Actually, Carter authored the novel only after leaving the White House. Ronald Reagan is known for overcoming the “20 year curse” of the White House, according to which every president, elected in the year ending with zero, either died or perished before the end of his presidential term. George Bush adored Mexican and Chinese cuisine but has never tasted broccoli. Bill Clinton ordered someone to create a personal internet site for his cat Socks. George W. Bush and his wife Laura got married only three months after they met.
