| | An Associated Press poll suggests that U.S. citizens are a bit more optimistic about the future of Iraq, which represents a bright spot for the Bush Administration. However, with that noted, many more people are unhappy with the President's overall job performance. Half the people surveyed think that is stable and democratic Iraq is likely in the future. They do seem to also feel that it may take a long time for Iraq to get to that point. The positive thinking about Iraq has not been matched with a similar increase in optimism about things at home in the United States.
