| | Rumor has it that Queen Elizabeth has taken some pounds from the royal purse to buy an iPod. The Sun newspaper in London has reported that the 79 year old Queen has bought a six gigabyte model, in silver, for 169 pounds. The digital music player, that is pocket sized, can hold up to 10,000 downloaded songs. Apparently the Queen's son, Prince Andrew -- who is fourth in line to the British throne -- convinced his mother to buy the iPod, having purchased a mobile phone for her in 2001.
