The Sun newspaper in London has reported that the 79 year old Queen has bought a six gigabyte model, in silver, for 169 pounds. The digital music player, that is pocket sized, can hold up to 10,000 downloaded songs. Apparently the Queen's son, Prince Andrew -- who is fourth in line to the British throne -- convinced his mother to buy the iPod, having purchased a mobile phone for her in 2001.
