This contest is fueled by the following news:
When the iconic rock group The Beatles first recorded their hit song "When I'm 64", Paul McCartney was a mere 24 years of age. That was 40 years ago. The former Beatle, McCartney, who is now 64 is also now able to find out the answers to the length list of questions that are contained in that song. McCartner was born in Liverpool in 1942. He actually was still a teenager when he wrote the famous song that ended up being included on the Beatle's top selling album "Sergeant Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band." The album was released in 1967. In fact, McCartney's own birthday celebrations likely will be markedly different from what is described on the song. For example, the song references "a cottage on the Isle of Wight, if it's not too dear" and "you can knit a sweater by the fireside, Sunday mornings go for a ride". Linda, McCartney's first wife, died of cancer in 1998. She was 56. She passed on after the McCartneys have been married for 29 years. Just a month ago, McCartney announced the end of his marriage to his second wife, Heather Mills. She is 38. McCartney has three grandchildren. In fact, rather like the theme of the song, McCartney has always lived a relatively simple life. He enjoys painting and gardening, for example. But, with a divorce pending, the question in the song about "will you still be sending me a valentine, birthday greetings, bottle of wine?" seems to require an answer of "no" -- at least as of now.
