I love it - one of the best entries in the contest. I'd make it look more like a paint in some colored parts though - increase saturation too to match the juicy green paint on the brush.

Ingenious idea : perhaps the brush could have been a little smaller, with only the green part of the photo running. A small contradiction, the photo is vertical and the brush is laid flat on it.
