|  With a scant two days to for before the annual Academy Awards ceremony, the media is all awash with the buzz about what is shaping up to be the most controversial Oscars event in decades. The controversy arises not only from the fact that a leading contender for best picture is the gay cowboy love story played out in "Brokeback Mountain," but the other four nominees for best picture are also poltically charged.
