Cool idea. A couple notes: They look washed out against the background picture. Try increasing the contrast of the faces. Grandpa's shadow is the opposite of Grandma's which makes it look a little surreal.

Good twist I agree what jest3r said...and in addition try to check where is your light came from...in what I see the face and the body of the old man is on different side.
