| The presidential candidate from the Democratic Party of the USA Barack Obama should invite Hillary Clinton as candidate for the vice-president's post. Such opinion, according to survey results, carried out by broadcasting company CNN, was upheld by the majority of voting democrats.
55 percent of the survey expressed this view for the benefit of the pairing of Obama Clinton during the presidential elections in November this year. And 43 percent of the participants of survey were against it, informs ITAR-TASS.
During the primaries, Barack Obama won by collecting more votes of the delegates of the National Congress of the Democratic Party of the USA than Hillary Clinton. He has already declared his victory. However, the former first lady of the USA still did not declare her exit from the presidential elections. Predictably, she will declare her intention to extend support to Senator Obama during an event, planned on the coming Saturday in Washington.
At the same time, the senators did not make any official statements concerning the possible candidature for the post of vice-president. Barack Obama stated that it is too early to speak about such candidature. Hillary Clinton distanced herself from those political supporters, who pressurize Barack Obama to give his consent to Senator Clinton, who till recently was in the presidential race, performed in tandem with him. Politicians from both campaigns state about the necessity to preserve unity in the ranks of Democratic Party of the USA for victory over the Republican John McCain.

Barack Obama became the single candidate from the Democratic Party once Hillary Clinton officially announced her quitting the pre-election race on June 7, 2008 and she supported Obama’s nomination. On June 25, 2008, the 42nd US president Bill Clinton endorsed Obama for the first time through official representative Matt McKenna, announcing that he will do whatever he could so that Obama wins the US Presidential election in November, 2008.

According to the Associated Press, the number of religious and racism cases increased in the USA after the victory of Barack Obama in the Presidential election; Mark Potor, Director of the Intelligence Project at Southern Poverty Law, said: “A considerable quantity of people are of the opinion that they are losing their lifestyle as if their country was stolen, which was built by their ancestors”.
Obama's victory has caused euphoria in a number of countries worldwide – the phenomenon, which received the name “Obama Mania”, symptoms of which has begun to be shown even during the election campaign. Kenya and some other African and Middle Eastern countries have especially felt “Obama Mania”.
Russian-American Political Analyst Nikolai Zlobin in “Journal” dt. 28.01. 2009 wrote about the reaction of the Kremlin to Obama's victory: Addressing the tone of Dmitry Medvedev before the Federal meeting on November 5, 2008 and also the late and cold congratulation towards Obama hinted that Moscow was not ready for Obama and it is strongly disappointed. According to the input received from journalist Evgeny Dodolev, the new president was being compared to Mikhail Gorbachev.

Hillary Clinton ended her bid for the White House, while Obama sealed the nomination. The tables turned, and just 2 months later after Clinton was offering a VP seat to Obama, she now openly stated she'll be happy to be Obama's running mate, if he puts her on VP ticket.
