I'd add shadows from the picture stand, player and the ball - onto the sand

What newsy said - except a shadow of the ball (or add a hoax of a shadow instead ). I like the OOB idea - very creative and unique. A part of the player gots a shadow from the picture stand (you don't have to work that out, the light is ok I think), but the arms are tanning in the sun (and only these player's "parts" would cast a shadow on the sand). Try to work that out and we have a winner.

Thanks guys. was trying to work that out. The shadow that is there is made from the couple, stand, and volleyball girl, but just kind of mashed all together. I'll try to get some more in there for the girl and stand.

Great edit, but I think "the stand" needs quite a big shadow too

The shadows look natural now - nice edit.

Good edit. The base of the stand and the man's right foot need a little more work - I can still see some bright (not shadowed)areas that won't belong there (in my opinion). Now - as I see the edited shadow - I have to correct my comment... I think you won't see a shadow from the hands and the ball - they are on "the other side" and out of the picture (now it looks like there's another player and ball on the other side of the stand - do you know what I mean.). All shadows should be in the same line to each other Lots of words, but changes should be easy to do. Thanks for the edit and your message. I hope my critique is helpful. Good luck.

Very helpful, I need to learn, and this shadow in particular has been a thorn in my side. will work on it.
