MIAMI (AFP) - Welcome to Florida, but avoid arguments or thanks to a new law you run the risk of getting shot, according to an ad campaign launched by a gun-control group.
The campaign coincides with a state law that enters into effect authorizing gun owners to shoot anyone in a public area who they believe threaten their safety.

The Vatican starts its latest inquisition, a nationwide "manhunt" for hom0sexuals in the American priesthood, at a seminary in St. Louis (Sept. 25-29). According to the Vatican, hom0sexuals are "intrinsically disordered." (Sept.26 Story from St. Louis).

Hmm, "intrinsically disordered"? . . . couldn't that apply to any guy who'd agree to celebacy?

Anyway, happy hunting ...guys!

Frequent Flyer

President Bush asked the nation to conserve on fuel. Meanwhile, he's been taking Air Force One (not to mention all the helicopters and motorcades) back and forth to the gulf coast for those all-important photo ops to show he cares. Cost to the taxpayers, at over $6,000 per hour in jet fuel, roughly $170,000 so far. See news and commentary.

The new Air Force One shown above should be much more fuel efficient, plus the president gets to wear that fun "mission-accomplished" flight suit again.

RabbiT
RabbiT pictures
A recent study found that Rabbit, one of Winnie the Pooh's closest friends, is Jewish. Rabbit, whose real name is 'Rabbi Tuvia' (or Rabbi T. for short), has always kept a Kosher home. For this reason, he ate only vegetables from his own garden, and seemed nervous whenever Piglet was around. Observing the custom of eating apple in honey for Rosh Hashanah, the Jewish holiday of the New Year, has always been a challenge for Rabbi T. as Winnie the Pooh would find and devour his honey supply on a regular basis.
The photo above contains seven clues pointing to Rabbi T’s Jewish identity.
