It seems Paris and former Miss USA and ex girlfriend of Oscar de la Hoya, Shanna Moakler, mixed it up in a Los Angeles nightclub earlier this week. Then, Greek shipping heir Stavros Niarchos, shoved Shanna down some stairs. That Paris is beginning to be a regular at the Los Angeles police station. A few weeks ago they hauled her sorry ass in on drunk driving charges and now she is back again for fighting. I guess all that cow milking she did on "The Simple Life" has lead her to believe she is a tough chick. Who knows what's next for pretty little Paris. I'm not making any of this stuff up either. This is better than any episode of "The Simple Life". I am just wondering who will get custody of Tinkerbell when they haul Paris off to the bighouse. The L.A. police have a tough job, too. Can you imagine having to take crime scene pictures of those two? I know I can.

You have to have a log-in to read the whole article. Here's a blurb in case you don't: "To ensure a son’s contentment in the afterlife, some grieving parents will search for a dead woman to be his bride (nytimes.com)."
The Republicans are at it again. Speaker Dennis Hastert said he was/wasn't aware of Foley's behavior, but the buck stops with Hastert and so he has no intention of resigning. WTF? Read about it here Full View is bigger.
New car buyers will collectively lose over $1 billion in value over the next two years due to a spike in depreciation rates.
Depreciation rates on new cars have risen sharply because the market has been flooded with new vehicles, many of which quickly turn up on the second-hand market.
The trend has been exacerbated by the tourism boom which has seen a flood of ex-rental cars add to the tens of thousands of nearly new ex-lease cars that reach the second-hand market each year, dragging down the resale value of used cars. find sourcehere
