This year's most anticipated film may be "Avatar" - the joint creation of Hollywood director James Cameron and producer Jon Landau. Last time this pair united they made "Titanic". Now they teamed up to produce $300 mln "Avatar," packed with computer-generated imagery and 3-D effects.
"Avatar" is set to open on December 18 and currently goes through the series of previews to the selected audiences.
Bank of America posted $1bn net loss in the third financial quarter.
Dow Jones Industrial Index rose over the 10,000 level - for the first time in 2009 - but finished the week slightly lower.
