I don't remember much about Al Gore except he claimed to have invented the internet once. He also has helped Adobe out by pushing for the Paperwork Reduction Act of 1995, which paved the way for the adoption of electronic document standards and the ascension of PDF. Well, Al may never get a Nobel Prize for his labors but he just might land an Oscar.

Toys For Tots, a charitable organization run by the Marine Corps Reserve that donates toys to needy children for Christmas, rejected an offer of 4,000 talking, Bible-verse-spouting Jesus dolls out of respect to the unknown religious beliefs of their young recipients (Nov. 14th).
