Dalai Lama threatened to resign if rioters won't calm down, and stated that Tibet independence is out of the question. The recent riots make Beijing Olympic games questionable. The games were scheduled to start on the 8th of August 2008 because the date symbolizes the Chinese lucky number 888 (08/08/08).
