This contest is fueled by the following news: Star Wars buffs turned out in full force for the final installment of the Star Wars franchise, which raked in $158.5 million since its opening - breaking both three and four day box office records. The amount brought in by the movie is higher than the three day record previously set by Spider Man, which took in $114.8 million in May of 2002. 2005 – Star Wars; Episode III – Revenge of the Sith: This is sixth and last shot film in the saga of "Star Wars" and third in the fable serial. The third year of clones' war is going on. The Galactic Republic as never before is a peaceful and harmonious state, changed into a battle field among the armies of the clones, headed by the chancellor Palpatine, and Armada, who were lead by Graf Duke, the dark lord Sith. The republic slowly goes into darkness. Only Jedi Knights, world savers and truth, can confront the evil, which may soon engulf the galaxy. But the present battle gets in the spirit of the young Jedi knight Anakin, who breaks between the long Jedi and the love towards his wife, Senator Padme Amidala. And from this, which sense in him wins, on which the future of the whole world depends. The film was released on the 19th of May 2005 and received much positive critics and opinions, in distinction from the two earlier prequels. "The revenge of the Sith" has put a new record in the first week itself and gained more than 850 million dollars all over the world, standing as the most selling film of 2005 in the world. Copy of the items: Around the world many different items are produced, having direct relation to the "Star Wars". The company "Lucas Arts" is earning considerable money from the sales of the souvenirs produced from "Star Wars", on which their marketing strategy in calculated. The basic object for copying is the light saber. Licensed light swords are made by two companies – "Master Replicas" and "Hasbro". The sword version "Master Replicas" possesses a tough and fixed edge, smoothly lightening and repeating all sounds from the film. Instead of these, each sword of the "Master Replicas" is like a perfect copy of the corresponding sword used by the personnel from the film. The sword version from "Hasbro" is confined to kids – it is simplified, however it is built with a mobile telescopic wedge. Also "replicas" of the swords, and of the space ships, weapons, costumes, and also other things from the universe of "Star Wars", can be found. Interesting Star Wars Facts: 1. To get the crowd roar during car races, sound producer attended an American football match and recorded the reaction of fans on a tape recorder. A three-year old girl's crying was processed on a computer, which later on became the sounds, uttered by underwater monsters. The sound of the spacecraft "Thaw-fighter" is a compilation of screams of young elephant and the rustling of tires on a wet road. The sound of the opening of Darth Vader's shuttle door was the clank of a meshed prison chamber of Alcatraz. 2. The initial plan was that the spaceship "Millennium Falcon" shall be in the form of an elongated cylinder, habitual for rockets. But then, George Lucas came up with an idea that the shape of the spacecraft should be ellipsoid – the shape of his favorite hamburger. 3. Cranes, used in ship ports, became the prototypes for one of the biggest ships of the Empire the "AT АТ", which are capable of moving through dense forests, deep snow and desert sands. So that these gigantic machines look realistic, film makers observed elephants for a long time, whose gait was finally assigned to the "AT АТ". 4. Sometimes, protagonists should make their way through asteroids. The film makers approached creatively towards flying objects in space. In "Star wars-V: The Empire strikes back", it is possible to see flying boots and potatoes amongst asteroids. And in "Star wars-II: Attack of the clones", feet were visible in one of the flying stone masses and other asteroids are made in the form of a cow. 5. The appearance of general Grievous from "Star wars-III: Revenge of the Sith" was devised thanks to a liquid soap bottle. The communicator Qui-Gon Jinn of "Star wars-I: The Phantom Menace" was actually a slightly "modified" female razor the Sensor Excel Razor and a used printer cartridges can be seen amongst the junk in the spacecraft. Aliens, similar to creatures from the films "Aliens" and "The Stranger" can be seen in the same first episode. 6. The name of the amusing alien Jar Jar Binks was suggested by George Lucas's five year old son. Devoted fans of "Star wars" developed a dislike towards this amusing character, who for the first time appeared in the film "Star wars-I: The Phantom Menace" because of his humor and cynicism. For the sake of laughter, George Lucas passed on a rumor that the next film will be "Star wars-II: The Big adventure of Jar Jar". 7. An own language was thought up for each race. So, for example, Evocii communicated in the Tagal language, widespread in the Philippines. The Jawa race conversed in the Zulu language, which was quickened up using computer. Greedo from the race Rodians talked in Quechua, a language of Peruvian Indians - played back to front. And the speech of Jabba the Hutt was borrowed from one of the Vietnamese dialects. 8 .The planet Tattoine, on which Anakin Skywalker was born, and later on where his son grew, was named in honor of real city in Tunis – Tataouine. Shooting accordingly, took place in the same country. Once, film crew had almost become a reason for a probable international conflict. Libyans did not like the huge quantity of incomprehensible military equipment that was positioned on the Tunisian boundaries and considering it to be a threat, the authorities almost declared a total mobilization. The government of Tunis politely asked Lucas to move deeper into the countryside. 9. In 1980, after three years of the release of first film "Star wars-IV: A New Hope" (1977), the first pictures of the Saturn satellite Mimas came to earth, which were very much identical to the "Death Star" from George Lucas's film. Astronomers are inclined to believe that a similar dent on Mimas – a crater, was formed as a result of collision of heavenly body with huge asteroid. George Lucas did not issue any comments on this subject.
