Extremely dangerous wind chills are now expected for the northeastern United States on Thursday. Wind chills may drop as low as 45 degrees below zero in such locations as eastern Massachusetts. Vermont Governor James Douglas urged all New England residents to conserve energy to prevent any possible blackouts.
