The Ford Motor Company is calling the limousine an elegant answer in a world that has become hostile. While the car may look like a regular, ordinary limousine, Ford says that it is not. Anthony Mason, a CBS news correspondent, reports that the Lincoln BPS (which stands for ballistic protection series) is an armored Town Car that is bullet resistant. The doors have been reinforced with both steel and ceramic. The windows are made so that they are more than an inch and a half thick. Many guns cannot penetrate the automobile, including assault rifles.
