| This contest is fueled by the following news: |
| It has said that the typical Race car driver knows of only two speeds which are fast and park. They are said to do absolutely everything with a full throttle engaged -- even leaving. Nothing in the world moves faster than NASCAR. Different racers who have been involved in other racing series are quickly moving to Nextel Cup and
Busch Series. NASCAR has even taken aim at Danica Patrick, the best known female in car racing today. As it turns out, Patrick didn't want NASCAR as badly as they seemed to want her. Although Patrick apparently has been courted by several NASCAR teams, she opted to join the top IRL team instead. She noted that she was entering the next phase of her career after finishing the Sunday's rain-delayed Indy Racing League's Firestone Indy 400. She had done her best to downplay the rumors about her moving to NASCAR. But, it is clear that she actually did consider such a transition. With all that said, and when all the smoke settled, it appears that Patrick prefers being a big fish in a small pond. NASCAR will have to wait another day as far as Danica Patrick is concerned. |
