Excellent idea. And well done. If you don't mind some constructive criticism though, I would like to help you if I may. I like this, not putting it down, just adding an opinion if it will help you. The reflection in the mirror should be reflecting the side of the girl we can't see right. But that is the difficult part since we don't have a face for her. But what you can do is find a face that would "fit" and with some minor adjustments to her hair, clothes etc. make it work. I ran into a similar problem, when I created "the window seat" picture for the Flower girl contest. HERE I'm not a pro, just noticed it right off the bat, and thought I would share a little of my limited expertise to help you if it will Hope it does, but if not, it's still a great chop.

Excellent critique, BS. Since this is a macro shot, it would be needful to have an area which is "sharp" - and this shold be the girl. Not the *boring* corner in the foreground... Could you sharpen it. And the mirror... well, what would you see there. It's out of focus so something blurry that might be the other side of the girl should work there

balodiva... not quite sure what you mean by the baby leg is not quite clear. I wanted it to have a plastic look as these ballerina musc dolls are made of plastic..

The reflection is very blurry and i agree, the legs dont match. Had the same idea, even found the same pic on google but i was afraid of the reflection part. I still like it though.

NIce job Tabbykatt, what you were doing was difficult to do, I think the plastic legs look great. Still one of my favorite chops in the entries, and in my opinion should have placed allot higher than where it did. You'll get'em next time
