| The U.S. military medical service is looking for visual special effects and video game experts from Hollywood. The military is seeking the talents of these people to develop tools that can be used to enhance the skills of military medics. The military believes that these high tech experts can create technology that will best simulate actual medical conditions, including wounds that medics would have to treat in a war time situation. The news of this need for high tech experts from Hollywood came from Dr. Greg Mogel who is the West Coast Director of the U.S. Army's Telemedicine and Advanced Technology Research Center. The military has long utilized video game technologies to assist in the training or pilots and other combat personnel. |
