I don't think you were copied. All too often we work on something very hard and then find when we post it that someone else has done it as well.

That's happened many times May. I wasn't making a jab at the other author. I was truly flattered. If they weren't inspired by my pic, great minds think alike.

It happened to me yesterday. I was literally about to push my submit button when a new submission appeared with the same source photo. It happens. Just like the submission directly before yours is the same basic style as yours, but I doubt you were influenced by theirs. Same thing with the previous "madonna" submission -- just a coincidence. Great minds do indeed think alike.

Quality work. I think it happens often that similar ideas come to choppers - they are inspired by the nature of a contest, and in this case Picasso cubism. That does not necessarily mean borrowing the ideas.

Thanks everyone. I'm amazed this did so well. Have you ever worked on something for such a long time that you loose your perspective on whether it's good or not. That's what happened here. It was something different and I couldn't decide if I really liked it. I guess you all liked it ok. Thanks for your votes and your comments.
