Peter Jackson is said to have delivered a decent ending to his trilogy with the release of The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King. Because Jackson could not decided which the the farewells and epilogues originally created by J.R.R. Tolkin in the movie version, he ended up using them all. Each time -- for a dozen instances -- a movie goer thinks the film has ended, he or she needs to sit down yet again. The latest installment is the longest of the trilogy, clocking in at three house and twenty minutes. The movie opens in theaters on December 17th.
