| Lindsay Lohan, known for her partying and alcohol addiction, has
finally checked into rehab. In Lohan's official statement issued via
her publicist, she said she made this decision to take better care of
her healf, and appreciate everyone's well wishes, but asked to respect
her privacy at this difficult time for her.
The rehabilitation health center Lindsay Lohan checked in is none other than the luxury
Wonderland Center in Los Angeles. She arrived at rehab in her sports
car.
December last year, Lindsay Lohan confirmed through her publicist,
that she was a member of Alcoholics Anonymous and attended AA meetings.
Later, however Lohan contradicted her statement saying that she
stopped attending Alcoholics Anonymous meetings a year ago.
Lohan, who's only 20, said she hasn't been drinking for seven days and she is not even
in her legal drinking age, so she prefers not to drink when she goes
to clubs, and drinks Red Bull instead.
In July 2006, Lindsay Lohan was taken to hospital after she felt sick
on the set of filming "Georgia Rule" movie. Lohan's official statement
was that she was suffering from dehydration and overheating, and that
the accident had nothing to do with alcohol consumption, or exhausting
from night partying.
Recently Lindsay had to undergo surgery to remove her appendix.
