| | With the preliminary acts over, the Democrats have turned their presidential contest into a national battle. John Kerry, with his win in New Hampshire under his belt, is opening an all out ad blitz in seven states that will have their primaries in the immediate future. Other candidates really are seen scrambling trying to keep up with Kerry. Kerry has not received some significant endorsements as well, including from South Carolina Rep. Jim Clyburn and Iowa Gov. Tom Vilsack. Additionally, Kerry has been endorsed by a couple of former U.S. Senators from the state of Missouri: Jean Carnahan and Thomas Eagleton.
