Jimmy Carter is being urged by a prominent U.S. based animal rights group to give up fishing. They contend that fishing is inconsistent with Carter's humanitarian efforts. Carter has won the Nobel Peace Prize. People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals -- PETA -- wrote a letter to Carter on Monday. The group said the letter to Carter was prompted by the former President's recent appearance on the Tonight Show with Jay Leno.
