| Jane Fonda, well known actress and activist, has stated that she intends to take a cross country tour by bus to call for an end to the U.S. presence in Iraq. She would not go into detail about the trip at this time. She did remark that she was excited about the prospects for the trip. She also noted that the anti-war tour will be conducted on a bus that runs on vegetable oil. She will be joined on her trip by families of Iraq war veterans as well as her daughter. The plan to end up in the Santa Fe area, where Fonda will promote her new book -- "My Life So Far" -- on Saturday. |
