Insect Fighting
Contest Directions: Insect fighting blood sport has gotten more popular in Asian countries in the recent years. While insect fighting goes back hundreds of years as entertainment for the Chinese aristocrats and emperor dynasties, today this blood sport involves large amounts of money with an earnest attention to raising and training insects. Male beetles are fed with special sugar rich foods to achieve higher size, and go through a series of training drills to develop aggressiveness. A fight is normally held between two bugs and is initiated by the recorded sound of the female's mating call, which instinctively puts the male beetles into a fighting mood.
Photoshop insect fights one way or another. You may use some sports (e.g. boxing) as a theme, street fights, or any other environment where insects would be willing to fight each other. Dressing up the insects or make them use fighting equipment (swords, boxing gloves) is a plus. Insects fighting each other don't have to be of the same species. Using human body (or parts) as sources for part of insects is allowed.

Children catch them in summers, when the children complete school assignments. Children keep the insects at home and look after the insects as in the case of dogs or hamsters. Children also organize battles of beetles. - I love Rhinoceros Beetles as they are very powerful fighters - says 9 year old Handa from Tokyo. At the beginning of content, insects participated in competitive round. Thus, the weakest and least sturdy insects were eliminated. Only 15 winners were allowed to take part in the fights. During boxing duels, several beetles attacked the rivals on their own. Some beetles were made to fight by the owners using sticks. Recently such contents are very popular. Followers bring best insects from Finland, Indonesia, Australia and Cameroon. Selling of Rhinoceros Beetles has become a profitable business. In specialized shops, price of Rhinoceros Beetles fluctuate from 80 cents upto 5 thousand pounds for a single beetle with a length of 8.5 cm.
