good thinking...but you must consider where you should place the shadows in to the old lady...(1) in the head (2) in the neck (3) in the clothes..."visual this" - if there is no light pass through it is covered and when it is covered there must be shadows contrast to the light. Another thing - cloning effect is so hard to do, my suggestion is study the flow of the image specially the dark and light part, use a small diameter brush and about 50 to 70 flow depends on the sensitivity of the image.
