| On Wednesday night, Democratic presidential candidate Howard Dean announced the replacement of his campaign manager, Joe Trippi. He will be replaced by Roy Neel. Neel is a former Washington lobbyist and has ties to former vice president Al Gore. Trippi has been credited with using the Internet to bring Dean to the national forefront. But, Dean's campaign may be having financial problems as well as other difficulties ... all which may be spurring the change at the top. Dean announced this change in a conference telephone call with reporters. Dean has decided to save his money for an ad campaign before the February 7th primaries in Michigan and Washington state.
