I was just trying to think outside of the box here. Hope its up to standards. For some reason I can only see the horses shadow in full view.

Lovely pic. Just one comment, you've kept the shadow of the missing box and it looks wrong. Try making your "fence" a more uniform grey and lightening its top edge.

Good edit looks much better and more realistic now that you added the shadow. Now just get rid of the shadow that belonged to the mailbox. Other than that, great idea, good skills, and awesome pic.

Perspective-wise, I don't think this horse is anywhere near the right height for this image.
