On third inspection, this is pretty darn good. I blew right by it at first as I have never been very fond of mixing ultra sharpness and diffusion. It screuz with my sensibilities on focus. But the idea here is excellent if not outstanding. I would have not figured this to be yours, Xaos, except for the copnceptual strength... which is always pro quality. The style though... really threw me. Great catch on the silver cup, mate.

Thanks all. Hitspinner- I had two versions of this at one point with various depth of field/out of focus layers and different placement of his eyeball which made him look really really stoned. I decided on this version, felt it was the better of the two. Thanks again for your comments HiT.

YW, thanks for delivering great work. Stoned is good , always works for me. Fun to do too. Eyes are the key to character huh. After years at this, I just figured out a better way of illustrating eyes. In the past, I have always whited out the iris and reillustrated the eye style and position I wanted within the confines of the white area. Then it dawned on me, why so friggin tedious whan I can just clip the layer out between forhead and cheek and save, Then illustrate the eyeballs without any masking cares at all, pasete the saved layer back in position and erase the old eye image revealing the illustrated eye underneath. I mean, duhhhhhhh, so easy I never though of it before
