 Namabian governmental authorities have announced their plans to clamp down on journalists who attempt to follow Brad Pitt and his pregnany wife, actress Angelina Jolie. The counple are in the country with her two adopted children. The couple has asked for privacy, according to a newspaper report on Sunday. South Africa's Sunday Times reported that the couple's security chief advised a local journalist that the couple truly wanted to be left alone. The statement from the couple sets forth that the love Africa and Namabia. They indicated that being in the country was very special to their family. The remarked that the local people had been kind and gracious to the family. The Sunday Times further reported that their own photographer and three French photographers were ordered to leave Namibia or face being arrested. Foreign journalists require accreditation to work within Namibia. Namibian Prime Minister Nahas Angula supported the move indicating that the couple and the children should be left alone. He noted that Ms. Jolie is expecting a baby and that journalists are harassing her. He added that harassment is not allowed in Namibia. |
