Psychologist Galdino Pranzarone from the College Roanoke in the State of Virginia during research on the origin of Valentine’s Day analyzed “Ancient literature, mythology and other sources” and made a conclusion: “The two parts (heart) of the stylized version of "love" less resembles an anatomic heart. This organ is never of a bright red color and also the sharp base and depression on the top”. According to the words of Galdino Pranzarone, particularly ancient Greeks and Romans, most likely, were the primogenitors of the graphical connection between the shape of the "heart - love" and features of the female anatomy, because, first of all, ancient people associated female beauty with the shapes of the female body.
