| Men who have been accused of not listening to women now actually do have an excuse. It has been determined scientifically that it is more difficult for men to listen to women than it is to listen to other men. The Daily Mail has reported findings from the scientific magazine NeuroImage and researchers at Sheffield University in northern England that there are significant differences in the way the brain responds to male and female sounds. Men tended to decipher female voices using the auditory part of the brain that processes music while male voices engaged a much simpler mechanism within the brain. |
