Some good work here, IMO the text just needs a little tweak to make it blend a bit better with the cardboard shading then it would be spot on

I had looked at this closely the day it was posted because it caught my eye, was a great idea and really well done. You probably know all this but . . . I suggest that if you were to use the polygonal lasso and create straight lined selections in areas to clone into, to match/blend into their surroundings, you can get cleaner lines. You can pick individual areas step-wise or/and do inverse select at some occasions to clone or do whatever you wish in a particular demarked area, separate from its neighbor. If you use the blobby brush, that looks like a splat (I pick "#39" in CS3) and reduce its opacity and increase/decrease its size to suit you can reduce some splotchiness after an initial attack with a full brush. The areas that (I think) that could be improved in this manner would be: The interface between the two flagstones to the right of the green bottle's neck. The extreme right of the stone where it meets the curb (kerb.) under the "K" in "Back". The line between the curb and what seems to be a white frame to the mesh/grate just to the lower left of the cardboard. And at the curb / blue frame interface directly below the sign. For blending the text into the cardboard, I would try: After rasterizing the text, add a little of the good old Gaussian blur and reduce the opacity slightly to "bleed" it int the cardboard. ( Just tell me to pipe down and go eat my oatmeal )
