First part begins with Harry, Ron and Hermione leaving on a high-risk journey, since they have to complete an important mission: find and destroy the secret sources of immortality and power of Lord Voldemort. Now, the three friends should act without the guidance of instructors and protection from Professor Albus Dumbledore and as never before, they have to count only each other. But, the powers of the dark try to separate the children and destroy their bonding friendship.
In the meantime, the world of wizards turns into a dangerous place for all enemies of Lord Voldemort. The war, which they were afraid of for so long has begun and now the Death Eaters supervise the Ministry of magic and even Hogwarts, terrorizing, intimidating and arresting all those who tries to resist them. But, the one "prey", who is most valuable for Lord Voldemort and constantly escapes from under the nose, is Harry Potter. He has turned into most desired target and the most wanted person, after all, Death Eaters follow him everywhere so as to bring him alive to Lord Voldemort.
Harry's only hope is to find horcruxes before Voldemort finds him. As he unwinds a ball of riddles and secrets, he very often faces the old, almost forgotten fairy tale - legend about Death Hallows. If this legend turns out to be true, it can give Voldemort the highest supremacy, for which he is aspiring.
Harry does not guess that his future has been predetermined way back in the past on that tragic day, when he became the "boy who survived". And now, as an adult, Harry is coming closer to fulfilling the task, for which he has prepared for from that same day, when he stepped over the boundary of howgarts for his last deciding battle with Voldemart.
The part comes to an end at Malfoy Manor, where Dobby is killed, when Bellatrix throws a dagger, which disappears along with Harry, Ron, Hermione & Dobby, transgressing in a cottage "Cockleshell". One of the most emotional scenes of the film is the death scene of Dobby in the arms of Harry Potter. Harry makes a grave to bury the Elf. Harry, Ron and Hermione bury Dobby in the grave. In the last scene of the film in Hogwarts, on a small island on the banks of the lake, Voldemart opens the tomb of Dumbledore, takes away the Elder Wand and lets out lightning in the sky.
