Nowadays, Halloween is celebrated in many countries, irrespective of belief. Undoubtedly, Halloween got vast importance in USA. Every year, both children and adults wait impatiently for this holiday and get ready well in advance: Costumes of "Evil spirits" are designed and tailored and various attributes are purchased. On this day, it is allowed for the Americans to do foolish things, including practical jokes and comical scenes. In connection with such "mayhem" which reigns on the streets of USA on the Holiday of dead, American officials, who are accountable for education, were compelled to ban the celebration of Halloween in schools, having decided to show political correctness so that the that antics and madness did not "insult the modern-day witches". It was also declared that, Halloween is not compatible with school rules, which prescribes students to carry respect and not to put others in any kind of discomfort and preparation and celebrating the holiday - worthless expenditure of precious time and fancy dresses are very expensive for many families. Even religious personalities are against the celebration of Halloween as propagation of evil spirits. In Czechoslovakia, Halloween starts much earlier on October 23. Tourists from all over the world gathered at masquerade of evil spirits, which took place in cultural centre "12". Mask and scary costume were mandatory at the masquerade. In Mexico, Halloween is celebrated very peculiarly. At night, thousands of candles are lit on cemeteries of the country. Good-natured dialogue with the dead takes place. In houses, Mexicans erect family altars with photographs of dead family members, decorate them with their flowers and arrange fine knick-knacks, which were once loved by the dead and lit candles. The Dead treat oneself to beer and chocolates. In recent years, Halloween is widely celebrated even in Russia. Youth, dressed in costumes of vampires, demons and witches, gathers in clubs and discothèques and enjoys from sunset till dawn. In some Russian schools, Halloween is celebrated by masquerades and parties. Modern holiday of Halloween has originated many centuries back. But, it acquired the modern name in VII century, when Pope Boniface declared November 1 as All Saint's Day. Catholic All Saint's Day - All Hallows Eve was later on called Hallowe'en and eventually became – Halloween. Though the Church tried a lot to stop the tradition of coaxing the evil spirits and till date could not stop the tradition. Pagan festival has survived and coalesced with church, by acquiring the name Halloween. In America, Halloween was celebrated for the first time by Irish immigrants. On this day, it is accepted to dress-up in costumes of witches and devils, to carry hollow pumpkins with the cut-out grin and lit candles inside the pumpkins - symbols of restless evil spirits. Halloween Party Invitations: For children parties — Cut out a silhouette of a bat from thick black paper; Write the invitation on back side of the figure and post it. Never ever forget to mention in the invitation that the invitee should compulsorily come to the party in a costume. For adults— Post black inexpensive half masks with the invitation (or personally invite) to the invitees. Do not forget to request the guests, that they should attend the party in costumes and masks.
