| Guitar Amplification:
Naturally, only two methods of using any guitar exist:
1. The use of a guitar with an amplifier;
2. The use of a guitar without an amplifier.
These two methods are appropriate for any type of guitar, absolutely for any type. Not a single guitar exists, which cannot be audible without an amplifier and not a single guitar exists, which could not be “stuffed” into an amplifier.
And, the guitar produces sound even without an amplifier even though the sound is absolutely different, but all the guitars produce sound. Though some of the guitars produce sound silently without an amplifier.
In simple terms, all the guitars produce sound but some produce it differently.
Here comes the next question, “Then why is an amplifier required?”
An amplifier is required to serve two purposes
* For amplifying the sound signal, enhancing its loudness and as a consequence, the increase in attendance of potential listeners;
* For the distortion of the guitar’s signal, for enhancing any new sound characteristics of the guitar, which make the sound more closer, which the guitarist wishes to achieve;
That's all. Guitars and amplifiers are available. You can play any guitar with any amplifier or even without an amplifier.
It is important to remember that it is possible to produce sound by both ways on any guitar.
I have a guitar, and an amplifier, but I can't find the lead that connects the two together. I would prefer to have a guitar that can utilize the amplifier, as it's an electric guitar, which sounds very "tinny" and quiet without an amplifier.
So despite saying that a guitar is good with or without an amplifier, having a lead to connect the two together should you wish can be helpful.
